Moving Poetry is my personal passion project still in working progress. Pencil drawings in harmony with my poetry – or others’ in collaboration – which is written using my typewriters or by hand. I use mostly what I call “natural animation” – moving the images with my hands. Some pieces are made in combination with stop motion & longer pieces are more edited.
I collaborate with musicians for these pieces. Contact me if you are interested in collaborating with your music.
An exhibition is planned as soon as all pieces are put to music. On this page you can see a few that are finished, some works in progress, images of drawings and images making of. The upcoming exhibition will also include interactive Moving Poetry – where you can create your own in different ways. For the love of poetry, illustration, animation, music, playfulness and beauty.
The Real Fake titles are a clin d’oeil to Magritte – since these drawing animations are not “real” – but a representation of reality.
